Sunflow heaters are a bespoke item, individually built to order by hand, therefore production times given by the surveyor can only be approximate.
Sunflow Ltd. reserves the right to implement technical changes for the purpose of improvement or to comply with changes in legislation.
Performance figures are a guide to what can be achieved in normal circumstances, taking into account the appropriate situation of the appliance. Heating output will, of course, vary considerably if the site is changed or if unforeseen circumstances affect its performance.
From day of delivery, the goods are then the purchasers risk and it is the responsibility of the customer to insure their new goods.
Sunflow Ltd. is not responsible for any wiring, disposal of old systems, wall mounting or installation of any kind that may be required by the customer unless specified on the contract. The Sunflow delivery team will unpack and check the heater/s, we ask that customers also check the goods on delivery and report any physical damage immediately to the delivery team. Only in this way can the damaged item be proven to be damaged or broken by us. Any claim shall be limited to the actual damage reported at the said time, knocks and damage thereafter are not part of the agreement. Sunflow Ltd. is not responsible for any building faults such as penetrating or rising damp, that affect the performance of, or damage the heaters.
Any night storage heaters to be removed by Sunflow Ltd. MUST be turned off 48 hours before the delivery team arrive. The Sunflow delivery team will not remove night storage heaters that are still hot. If the customer wishes Sunflow Ltd. to return to remove night storage heaters that were too hot to remove on the scheduled delivery day, there will be an additional charge of £160.
The company accepts no liability under guarantee if the heaters have been damaged by whatever cause, misused or neglected after delivery.
Delivery – Sunflow Ltd. will arrange a date for delivery but, due to traffic conditions, any delivery times are a general indication only and the client must be available to take the goods on the arranged date between the hours of 8:00am and 18:00pm. Unless due to exceptional circumstances, notified to the company at least one full working day in advance, any re-scheduled delivery due to non-availability of the customer will incur a charge of £160. Normal delivery days are Monday to Friday. Sunflow Ltd. do not deliver on weekends.
Should the customer refuse delivery without legal reason, then Sunflow Ltd reserves the right to claim up to 30% of the purchase price to cover costs incurred, not withstanding the customers right to prove otherwise.
Goods remain the property of Sunflow Ltd. until paid for in full. Sunflow Ltd. reserve the right to charge a late payment fee of £120 per calendar month on outstanding balances or to collect the heaters at their discretion.
Sunflow Ltd. will take every care in installing your appliance. However, it is your responsibility to ensure that your wiring system, any plumbing or structures are sufficient to allow the delivery team to proceed safely. In exceptional circumstances our delivery team may refuse to install an appliance if they consider the circumstances to be unsafe. In such circumstances it will be the customers responsibility to take remedial action and to arrange for re-delivery of the heater/s when this has been done. When dismantling old systems Sunflow Ltd. will brace and seal the old flue systems internally but will not undertake any roof work or install scaffolding. All electrical works will be surface wall mounted unless previously agreed and charged for on the purchase order. Sunflow Ltd. do not carry out any re-decoration work.
It is the responsibility of the customer to dispose of redundant systems or appliances and any waste unless previously agreed with Sunflow Ltd.. Very rarely increased power supply is required and this is the responsibility of the customer as only the customer can deal with the utility company.
Guarantees: The working parts of Sunflow radiators carry 10 years guarantee as standard*, providing the heating appliance is used for the purpose it is intended and not broken, knocked or otherwise defaced or destroyed. *Thermostats, built in or radio controlled have a five year guarantee as standard.
Third party equipment supplied such as Celsia Zone Controls, water cylinders, immersion heaters, boilers, heated towel rails, etc., carry the manufacturers guarantee as stated on the packaging. Please retain your manufacturers guarantees.
